This is a diarised travelogue detailing in simple terms an interesting journey through France and along the Spanish coastline. Well written in simplistic terms, except when talking nautical, this book is easy to follow. Unfortunately we really don't get to know the author or her husband and this really sums up the book as a whole. Superficial; but nevertheless worth reading, particularly if you have crossed the paths of their journey.
Quite enjoyable reading about traveling g in bygone time through the canals of France and the Spanish coast. Wishing you well

This was a good book, do not bother with the second book Vino Tinto.

Great story of a sailing family in the canals of France and Spain. Eugenie tells of her experiences in great detail.
Poorly written, unedited, and no meat on the bones. A complete waste of time and a couple of bucks! There is no story here.
