These are a ton of fun and I really love the different styles. You can do them any which way you please, meaning if you want to take the fancy goat thingy and make it into a zombie animal, you totally can! The designs transfered well. I have only used them once, so I'm not sure about how mulitple transfers will work. There is a note in the back of the book about using aluminium foil to get more bang for your buck. There must be something metalic or magnetic in the ink for that to work. I've heard rumor of some of these designs fading. I did a batch of 9 two weeks ago and I can't tell if there is any fading in the one's I still have yet to do, so if there is it appears to be very slow. Once you cut these out, there isn't much room to hold onto them, but you can pin it to your ironing board so it stays in place (three pins on one side will do). If you use it for something other than fabric, you may need to tape or wear high-heat resistant gloves so you don't accidentially singe your fingers. Overall, I'm quite please with my purchase, but let you be warned: THERE IS NOT 150+ DESIGNS! IT'S ONLY 135 EXACTLY. I'm not missing any panels in my book either. So, that's a little bit of false advertising. I don't care enough to do anymore then mention it as it's still a great price, but just keep that in mind if you get it.

This was purchased as a gift for a friend who does a lot of SCA type stuff and other costuming. She was quite pleased with the book, and though she may never actually use the patterns directly, she was already making plans for adapting some of the patterns to decorate this year's gowns. I consider that a big success!

I IIke the details in these. I am going g to have to enlarge some of them and use a transfer pencil but the number of transfers is shy I gave goid feedback. Only took away 1 star due to most being small and too similair.

Great for those who love this time period!

i only liked one of these patterns (the thistle) but i got it to bead, not embroider- with beads you can only get so much detail and the designs are a bit too intricate for that. probably good for embroidery though!

Fantastic, better than expected. The images are very interesting & clear. I'm excited to give these a try. So much nicer in a book format than a large folded page.

I haven't gotten to use these yet but the book contains some truly unique medieval style transfers that I look forward to using in embroidery projects.

A large selection of wonderful guided meditations. Her other CD is also fantastic. I listen to at least one guided meditation a day to calm me down and leave me in a wonderful relaxed state of peace and bliss. They vary in length from 9 min to 20 min so you can easily incorporate a session into a busy schedule.

I absolutely love these meditations. And to me they are actually much more than meditations. Many important messages I haven't heard expressed in these ways before that are already beginning to help and I will listen again and again. Maybe even when doing laundry etc. to be calm, centered, and let the messages sink in more and more until I can use them automatically. I'm glad to see this is on audible because I would like to listen on a nature walk or even a walk around the neighborhood (or maybe I'll try one of her other audios for that). Probably not how the author meant for them to be used but I think they can be used as meditations, or to listen to any time. there are 2 CD's included. I also appreciate that each meditation/ topic is printed on the CDs kind of like chapters if you're looking for a particular one although the font is very tiny and a bit hard to read. Wish I had this years ago and so glad I found it.

I didn't like this meditation CD. I was looking for something peaceful to make me relax and forget my worries. At least one of the meditations forced me to visualize what was bothering me and meditate on it. It left me feeling anxious and shaken. I also didn't like the ring sound between meditations. It startled me out of the meditation. This may be what others are looking for and it may help in the long run, but I was looking for gentle relaxation and relief from anxiety which this cd did not do for me. I did find her voice very pleasant. If only I had liked the meditations.

I love the topic of mindfulness. This CD is the best and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Tara's voice is very relaxing. I've read mindfulness books and they contain too much information making it's hard to grasp. Tara explains it in 3-4 minute segments that makes it easy to grasp and relate to. And her meditations are lovely and relaxing. .

Tara Brach has a very soothing voice and this has become one of my favorite meditation CDs. As someone who has meditated to Jon Kabat Zinn for years, I would highly recommend it.

the comentary by the person who created this can put you to sleep instead of helping us to better ourseves by mindfulness. The only one track I found helpful concerning dealing with pain, that allows you to sleep. I would never buy this person's cds again.

More instructional than I thought it would be. Very little actual meditation sessions.

Doctor Tara Brach's meditation's are excellent. Anyone interested in looking within to understand life's challenges could benefit from these meditations.

This is an excellent new translation of a classic Shafi'i Fiqh primer! It covers the entire spectrum of Islamic law according to the Shafi'i school of jurisprudence in a concise way. It also fills in the gap between very basic texts of fiqh to more intermediate works like Reliance of the Traveller.But as with any book, the translator who is a specialist in Islamic law and is qualified to give expert legal opinions in Islamic law, makes it clear that:"Since the earliest days of Islam, the preservation, explanation, and dissemination of religious knowledge has been the task of living human beings. Though the Qur'an, hadith, and other bodies of knowledge were recorded soon after the passing of the Prophet (salla llahu alayhi wa sallam), reliance has always been upon living human who know and practice, not inanimate pages that statically record. When Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) sent an official mushaf (compiled book of the Quran) to the various regions of Islam, each mushaf was accompanied by someone who has been assigned the responsibility to teach the masses its proper recitation and meanings. While pages can record meanings, pages cannot recite or explain what they record; pages cannot teach others to recite or explain properly, nor test, and - when needed - correct those who err or mistaken." I was overjoyed when I found a translation done by such a reliable scholar.The only downside is that I would have hoped for there to be more commentary from the sheikh on the different comments within the texts. The few insights he does give are excellent and I would have liked to see more.An essential buy for all budding shafi students!

I gave this book 4 stars because I would have liked to see some explanatory notes from the translator.However, I believe the author's intent was for this work to be read with a teacher trained in the Shafi'i school.In this case, his translation is a perfect introductory text for novice students.

This book is a phenomenal translation of the famous Fiqh treatise: Abū Shujā‘. I would recommend all learners and teachers of Islamic law to benefit from the efforts of the translator, Musa Furber.
