Story of a real person in the early years of our country, America. . Written for young people to understand, very informative with accurate details.
I read this with my kids as part of our study on US History. Very engaging and easy to read. Ages 3, 6 and 7 all loved it!
So good so far. My 9 and 7 yr old are on the edges of their seats.
Both of my children (2nd and 4th grade) have enjoyed this title. My daughter zipped right through it and really enjoyed it. The story was written in an engaging fashion, and the children are able to retell even the small details.Purchased as part of the Mother of Divine Grace curriculum.
This book is such a cute book!!! My kids enjoyed it being read to them each night.
My son was interested in Squanto. This book told his story.
I love this little book and it can be easily read by a second grader. Is it totally factual? Of course not, Squanto is talking in the book. It does, however, give a young child a picture of Squanto's life.
Easy to read to and understood by 2nd graders, but not quite historically accurate.
