This cookbook is very well designed and photographed, and I'm quite pleased to have it in my collection of Twin Peaks books! I give it four stars rather than five because the majority of recipes are impractical and it is unlikely that I would ever attempt to make them. The book doesn't quite hit the mark as an actual cookbook, but is a wonderful addition to the world of Twin Peaks-related items for fans. Works best as a guide to planning and outfitting a Twin Peaks-themed party. There are three contributions from actors (Kimmy Robertson (the best one!), Al Strobel, and Madchen Amick), but I wish there could have been a few more.
So I am a die hard Twin Peaks fan, I have a little shrine in my house. My husband got this as a gift for me and although it is different than what I expected, it still is a great cookbook. The reciped are all themed for different aspects of the show, and the recipes we have tried have been awesome. It is however a UK cookbook they have approximate cook temps and measurements but I have found that the desserts seem to favor a more British style, the recipe for the pie crusts and donuts seem pretty heavy. This also has directions for "everything" made from scratch...even a Cherry Cola
Charming and enjoyable, with some good stories built in. It's not a dense book and I'm not sure I'll ever actually make anything, but a neat collector's item for fans of Twin Peaks. As Agent Cooper once said: ...I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.I would add: "And some Damn Fine Cherry Pie!"
I'm a huge twin peaks fan and when I found out they had an unauthorized cook book I had to buy it. all the recipes are named after the characters or events that happened in the series. like the famous "fish in the percolator", etc. a must have for any twin peaks fan
I chose this hydrating because there are so many recipes that look like they would be good especially the drink and dessert ones. There are some things in here I would love to try but some honestly I don't know if I would want to or not but I'm really excited that it has the black Yukon sucker punch recipe in here.

I got this as a gift and it was well loved. As a fan of the show I parused the book my self and decided I think I have to get a copy for my self as well.
